Crewe Town Council is a town council covering the town of Crewe, Cheshire in England.

Crewe Town Council was formed in 2013 as the result of a referendum, with a role to provide a strong voice for Crewe. The Council is made up of twenty elected members and has a small team of officers delivering local services and activities.

Rangers in Action

Our Town Ranger Service have been out carrying out a clean up, helping to keep public spaces clean, tidy and welcoming for residents and visitors.

Regular maintenance like this helps improve the appearance of the town and ensures community spaces remain safe and enjoyable for everyone.

📚 Nick Sharratt at Crewe Library

We’re bringing a favourite children’s author to Crewe this June.
As part of the National Year of Reading 2026, Crewe Town Council is proud to fund a special event hosted by Crewe Library.

Join bestselling children’s author and illustrator Nick Sharratt, creator of Shark in the Park and the You Choose series, and illustrator of many of Jacqueline Wilson’s best-loved books, for a fun and engaging afternoon.

Children will have the chance to:
• Hear about Nick’s much-loved books
• Discover how his stories and illustrations are created
• Ask their own questions

Mayoral Activities

The Mayor of Crewe, Cllr Stuart Mackay, recently attended the Circus Starr Show at Nantwich Civic Hall.

Circus Starr put on a fantastic performance that was enjoyed by everyone in attendance. The excitement from the children was clear to see, and the atmosphere throughout the event was positive, welcoming and inclusive.

The Mayor was impressed by the skill and talent of the performers and the positive impact the show had on audience members, including those with additional needs, as well as their families and carers.

Circus Starr provides a wonderful opportunity for people who may face barriers to accessing live entertainment, ensuring everyone can experience the joy and excitement of a live performance.
