Hello Residents I am certain you may be aware of the proposed 3 weeks bin collection that was mandated by the previous government to happen by April 2026. This is because they want weekly food collection bins which means Cheshire East needs extra staff, new vehicles and for this we "the people" need to forfeit collection of our black bins waste to 3 week.

Most councillors have opposed this idea, where Crewe already suffers from fly tiping, where residents have to live with back alleyways full of rubbish.

My suggestion is all residents email our new Labour MP to take to this parliament for this mandate to be reversed

[email protected]

They are looking to employ officers to educate and fine those who do not manage to condense their household rubbish!

In my opinion "Rubbish" idea and why should tax payers be fined for the government taking away a service and not have a reasonable replaced service.

How can a standard family of 4 with the already pressures of life and cost of living crisis now have the worry they will be fined at least £80 and if not paid taken to court and get a CCJ thus affecting their credit score ....for what working hard and paying taxes???

Please share this post and get 1000000% of residents email our MP

Thank you

Hello Crewe North Residents

I visited the ward and reported some repairs needed at MacLaren Park once again. I have also followed the flood lights repairs I reported back in the summer and have since received acknowledgement of them being in working order now which I am delighted especially now during this time of the year. I noted more broken trees which was disappointing, these have been reported as has the lifting tarmac in the play area.

Please email me regarding any ward concerns

📣 Use the Crewe Defibrillator Directory - and potentially save a life! ❤️

The Directory lists 24/7 access defibrillators in Crewe and can be found on our website:

Crewe Town Council has funded 9 of the units, which also contain bleed kits.

All units have been registered on the national defibrillator database to enable 999 callers to be directed to the nearest location. If a medical emergency is experienced near a defibrillator location, a call should be made to 999 for further guidance and to obtain the access code (if appropriate).

Why was such a serious case like this decided by Magistrates?
Why didn't it go to the Crown Court, which is where virtually all serious cases like this end up?
