Today is officially the hottest day of the year so far - and while we’re all enjoying the sunshine, it’s important to stay safe in the heat.

Heat exhaustion can come on quickly, especially when you’re out in the sun, exercising, or not drinking enough water.

Look for:
- headache
- dizziness and confusion
- loss of appetite and feeling sick
- sweating with pale, clammy skin
- cramps in the arms, legs, and stomach
- fast, weakening pulse and rapid breathing

Knowing the signs and what to do could help protect you or someone around you.

Yesterday we were training parents, carers and toddlers in first aid awareness at Westcott Cookie Club. Also lots of fun, playing and singing!

Our team from Guildford, Woking and Cranleigh network are out supporting Cranleigh Carnival today. Do come and visit us as you walk past, and make sure to stay hydrated and in the shade to stay cool in this hot weather.
