Welcome to Cranbrook Cottages, we are pleased to be able to offer two cottages for rental in the centre of the historic town of Cranbrook in Kent. The cottages are 18th Century former mill workers cottages and are named after William Jenner who was Mill Master in the 1850’s. They are only a few metres from the windmill and Cranbrook School boarding houses and a short walk from the centre of this

historic market town. The cosy sitting room has an open fireplace with Smart TV, 2 sofas and chair. This leads to the kitchen where you will find a welcome pack, a table for 2, electric oven and hob, fridge, dishwasher and a microwave. Both rooms have underfloor heating making it a cosy place to settle down with a good book. Upstairs the cottage sleeps two comfortably with a further dressing room with Futon. The bedroom has a king size bed, Smart TV and wardrobe. The bathroom has a digital shower, toilet and washbasin. Car parking is some 30 metres from the house.

Sponsored by the Community for the Community

Sponsorship comes in many forms. Sponsors range from those who have bought tickets to the Goudhurst Ball to businesses like Cellar Head, Anno Gin (who are providing refreshments), Lower Ladysden (Hog Roast) as well as institutions like the Village Hall (Barbecue) and Goudhurst Club (Bar). All sponsors will be listed on a special banner displayed at the event with individual banners for those making a larger commitments.

Ambition Beyond the Coronation Weekend

The Coronation Weekend is a beginning. Any additional monies raised will be used to create a charitable Parish Fund to support people, groups, facilities and activities across the Parish now and in the future providing a lasting legacy and future memories.

How can you contribute?

If you are a business then you can provide your services in support the weekend (or on the day), take a stall to showcase your activities, donate products for our auction of promises and raffle.

If you are an individual you can donate by simply turning-up with your family to enjoy the activities and events we have planned over the weekend. If you can, you might consider donating to our Just Giving Page.

As an individual you can join the team who will make the day special. We will need people throughout the weekend to help for short and longer periods, to contribute to our events and even bake cakes. All contributions are important to the success of the weekend. (see the list below).

To mark His Majesty The King’s Coronation thousands of organisations across the country are getting together to give us all the chance to help out in our own local communities.

We are adding to our Coronation weekend. We will start with a litter pick but we are also looking to create a Goudhurst 'bob-a-job' by understanding what people need and matching those needs to volunteers.

Help us to do something amazing. Join in, Lend a hand. Make a change. If you have ideas, if you have something that needs to be done or you can help by volunteering your services the contact [email protected]
