Call Out No.19/26 Team paged at 20.55 last night by Stornoway MRCC to man the HLS for the incoming Helimed 5.
Area checked for FOD and several members of the public give safety advice.
Team assisted with the transfer of a single patient from the ambulance to the helo for their onward journey to a hospital on the mainland.

We wish the patient a speedy recovery

Call Out No. 18/25 Team paged on Friday at 13.35 by Stornoway MRCC to reports of a person or persons cut off by the rising tide at Craignure Golf Course.
As the team started to arrive at station news came through that the person was safe and well, before being stood down the team checked to make sure the person was safe and well.
After checking the team were stood down at 14.15.

Call Out No. 16/26 Team tasked last night at 20.00 by Stornoway MRCC to man the HLS at Glenforsa for the incoming Helimed 5.
Team checked area for FOD, livestock and past information back to the MRCC.
Once the patient had been transferred to the Helo and had departed for a hospital on the mainland the team were stood down and returned to base at 21.50.

We wish the patient a speedy recovery.

Call Out No.15/26 Team tasked at 21.40 on Sunday Evening by Stornoway MRCC to set up and man the HLS at Glenforsa for the incoming Helimed 2 from Inverness.
Area checked and landing lights deployed before Helo landed.

Team assisted with the transfer of a single patient for their onward journey to a hospital on the mainland.

The team was stood down and returned to base at 23.30.

We wish the patient a full and speedy recovery.

Call Out No. 14/26 Team paged on Saturday 15.00 by Stornoway MRCC to man the HLS at Glenforsa airstrip for the incoming R851.
Team assembled at RV but due the weather and the real threat of trigger lightning strikes(can and do occur to helicopters in certain atmospheric conditions) the team were stood down and returned to base.
The patient thankfully made their way to hospital by ferry.
