After listening to residents and pressing the council for action it was good to see the team out today. Juniper Play area is now fully cut and the margins and walkways have also been cut back on Woodridge Avenue. They have also removed the dock leaves and cut back round the pumping station at the bottom of Parkhill.

Community Update – Bannerbrook Park

Following reports of an incident involving off-road bikes in the Bannerbrook Park area last night, I contacted the local neighbourhood policing team to make them aware.

I’m pleased to confirm that the matter is now being actively investigated by the police.

I won’t be sharing further details while enquiries are ongoing, but I wanted to reassure residents that the concerns raised have been passed on and are being taken seriously.

If you witnessed anything or have any relevant information, please report it directly to the police, as this will assist their investigation.

Delighted to be able to attend the official opening of this much needed facility by the Lord Mayor for Tile Hill residents. Great to meet the team and discuss and see what facilities will be available now and for the future.

Bannerbrook Park Litter Pick

I’ve seen the Facebook post regarding the reported incident in the Aldrich Avenue area on Saturday evening and appreciate the concern it has understandably caused within our community.

As one of your Woodlands Ward councillors, I have contacted our Neighbourhood Policing Team to ask for clarification on the situation and to see whether there is any information they are able to share with residents. I have also asked whether any additional reassurance patrols are planned and if there is any appeal for witnesses or CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage.

If you have any information that may assist, or if you witnessed the incident, please report it directly to West Midlands Police.

As soon as I receive any update that the police are able to share publicly, I’ll post it here.

In the meantime, please continue to look out for one another and stay safe.
