Every year, the first week in June is an opportunity to celebrate and thank the incredible volunteers who make community groups like ours possible.
What better way to start than by recognising one of our most dedicated volunteers, Sylvia!

At 80 years young, Sylvia volunteers with Grub & Gab Club Coventry every single week, bringing warmth, kindness, and a friendly face to everyone who attends. Her commitment, enthusiasm, and willingness to help make a real difference to our club and the people who rely on it.

Whether she's welcoming members, lending a helping hand, or simply taking the time to chat with someone who needs it, Sylvia embodies everything that community spirit is about.

We are incredibly grateful for all that Sylvia does and proud to have her as part of the Grub & Gab family.

Hello Dan,
I just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for arranging this wonderful trip for us. We truly had an amazing time, and it became a very special experience for both me and my little one. My son especially enjoyed every moment of it, and seeing him so happy made this trip even more meaningful for me. Honestly, without your help and effort in organizing everything, I probably would not have had the opportunity to take him there.
Everything was arranged so nicely, and your kindness, time, and support are deeply appreciated. It’s not often that someone goes out of their way to make such beautiful memories possible for others, and I genuinely want you to know how grateful I am. This trip gave us memories that we will always cherish.
Thank you once again for all your effort, thoughtfulness, and generosity. I truly appreciate everything from the bottom of my heart.

Our Sandwich Squad have been working hard since 6.00am for everyone going on the Drayton Manor trip today!

Over 250 lunches are being prepared from the kind donations of some of our volunteers!

The sun is shining and a great day ahead ☀️

All Coach Confirmation emails have now been sent out. This will have your family reference and also which coach you have been assigned to. Please have this information ready on the morning when arriving!

Coaches will leave St Barnabas at 9.00am promptly!

Please ensure that you arrive from 8.30am to check in and receive your lunches if you have requested one!

Hello All!

For those of you going on the Drayton Manor Trip, thank you to all of those who have sent over their payments, it is much appreciated!

We have reached out to those who have not paid, to inform them that their places have been given up. These are "Family 25" and "Family 36". All other Family references, we have had your payments!

For those who have paid, you will receive a confirmation email and trip details by COP Monday 18th May at the very latest, so keep an eye on your inbox in the coming days!
