During our AFI (Annual Formal Inspection) we are proud to announce the presentation of of BTec certificates to FS Ryan, Sgt Faulkner, Cpl Corcoran, Cpl Kobylak and Cpl Barfield . Our congratulations to them.

We were also proud to receive his message from Wg Cdr (Retired) Mills about our BTEC performance.

"2286 Squadron has an absolutely magnificent recent record of achievement — 14 BTEC Diplomas and 3 Extended Certificates, together with 2 ILM Level 3 Awards. This is unequalled by any Squadron in the Region, let alone the Wing, and is a real reflection of the positive “can do” spirit that is so evident throughout 2286.

Please pass on my congratulations to everyone involved. These achievements are a credit to both the cadets and the team supporting them."

This morning saw FS French, one of the Wing's Lord Lieutenant's cadets being a part of the Invictus Games 1 year to go event at the NEC with a number of VIPs and celebrities, inluding Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex.
