Tonight saw the cadets of 163 Squadron take part in a highly successful Medical Evacuation (Med Evac) exercise, designed and delivered by our SNCO team. Throughout the evening, cadets were challenged with a range of realistic scenarios that tested their leadership, teamwork, communication, first aid knowledge, and problem-solving abilities.
Working together in teams, the cadets were required to assess casualties, develop evacuation plans, and safely move injured personnel while adapting to changing situations. The activity encouraged them to think under pressure, communicate effectively, and support one another to achieve their objectives.
It was fantastic to see the cadets demonstrating confidence, initiative, and resilience as they tackled each challenge throughout the night.
To round off the evening, the SNCOs and JNCOs went head-to-head in an NCO battle, putting their skills, teamwork, and competitive spirit to the test. After a closely fought contest, it was the SNCO team who emerged victorious, securing the bragging rights and ending the night on a high!
A huge well done to all the cadets who took part and to the SNCO team for delivering an engaging and challenging evening of training. Nights like these are a fantastic way to develop the leadership, teamwork, and communication skills that are at the heart of RAFAC.
