Let the mind games begin 🤯

Our team had a brilliant time at the event, as part of Humber Business Week.

We solved creative puzzles at MKM Stadium, learnt about Tigers Trust’s fantastic work with local young people..and looked out for suspicious behaviours 🕵️

We’re proud to support Tigers Trust’s interventions. Big thanks to the team for organising such a fun event!

Today our team attended events with , which showcases regional talent, innovation and opportunities 💚

The panel highlighted the need for positive mental wellbeing in the workplace and how this is shaped by transparency and trust. This includes creating space for regular, open conversations about wellbeing and clearly signposting support.

At we heard from local businesses and the next generation about how we can change the narrative about the region.

It was fantastic to learn about local progress and how we can all make a difference.

Our ‘Box Smart’ programme has been shortlisted for BBC Radio Humberside’s Make a Difference Awards 🥊🏆

The awards recognise individuals who make life better for people in our communities. We nominated the programme leads, Mike Gibbons and Bob Beautyman, for inspiring and engaging with local young people through the power of boxing.

‘Box Smart’ is a collaborative programme supported by local schools and the Orchard Park Neighbourhood Policing Team. Each session seeks to improve wellbeing, encourage skills development and educate young people on the dangers of crime, including substance misuse, gangs and anti-social behaviour.

The ceremony will take place in September 2026 – best of luck to Mike, Bob and Box Smart 🤞

Sometimes, parenting can be overwhelming.

News stories and social media can influence how safe we feel our children are and the risks they may face in today’s world. It can be extremely worrying to think your child may be affected by knife crime and violence.

Our recorded webinar and digital guide from The Ben Kinsella Trust are filled with useful information on keeping young people safe. They give parents and carers practical skills, including tips on how to have supportive conversations about the risks of carrying a knife.

Teaching young people about the risks of carrying a knife ⬇️

North Lincolnshire Community Safety Partnership recently presented an assembly on knife crime awareness to over 200 pupils at The Axholme Academy in Scunthorpe. The content was adapted from our ‘Breaking the Cycle’ resources and insights from the The Ben Kinsella Trust training.

We spoke to Tracey Coyne about the session – including surprising facts and the importance of educating young people.

We’re pleased to share that Dr Amrit Kaur Purba will be the keynote speaker at our Partnership Conference on the 18 June 💚

She’ll explore how social media and digital environments are reshaping youth violence, vulnerability and exploitation through a modern public health lens.

Dr Purba is a Wellcome Fellow, causal epidemiologist and public health researcher at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, where she leads the Digital Determinants of Health Hub. She advises the UK Government, World Health Organisation, United Nations and others on online harms and youth health, and her research has informed national and international policy on youth online safety.

This topic also addresses one of the core themes of Knife Crime Awareness Week – that knife carrying and violence is normalised and glamourised on social media.

Join our free Partnership Conference on the 18 June to hear from Dr Purba and other experts in prevention serious violence.
