This page is to provide swimmers & parents of Corby Swimming club information and also to share the Clubs success’s to the wider community.

Corby Amateur Swimming Club is a friendly but competitive swimming club located at the Corby East Midlands International Pool in Corby, Northamptonshire. We welcome swimmers of all abilities, from novices (ASA Learn-to-Swim Framework Stage 6 and above) to those who have competed at the highest level. Corby East Midlands International Swimming Pool is one of the finest pools in the country and

we consider ourselves lucky that we can train in such a fabulous pool. There are two pools available, a 20m training pool and a 50m international standard pool, that can be converted to 25m with a diving pit and play area. The club trains on 6 days a week and operates a progressive squad structure that seeks to maximise the performance of our swimmers.

Congratulations to Corby swimmers Martha Blake and Phillippa Cutmore, who were both selected to attend the Regional Pathway Camp at Repton School on 31st May.👏

Both swimmers have enjoyed an exceptional season in the pool, and their selection is a well-deserved reward for the hard work, dedication and commitment they continue to show in training and competition.

We would also like to congratulate Holly Coleman, who was invited to attend the prestigious National Pathway Camp held at the Oundle School Sports Centre during the half-term break. Selection for the National Pathway Camp is a significant achievement, recognising some of the country's most promising young swimmers.

Holly's invitation follows a fantastic year of success and is testament to the effort and determination she has shown throughout the season.

Everyone at Corby Swimming Club is incredibly proud of Martha, Phillippa and Holly for their achievements and for representing the club at both regional and national level. We look forward to seeing what they can accomplish next.⭐⭐⭐

Congratulations to all the Corby swimmers who took part in the Northamptonshire County Pathway Development Camp earlier this week.

Held over three days, the camp brought together some of the county’s top junior swimmers for an exciting programme of training both in and out of the pool. Working with a select team of coaches, the swimmers had the opportunity to develop their skills, learn new techniques, and gain valuable experience to support their future progress.

We’re incredibly proud of every swimmer who represented Corby and made the most of this fantastic opportunity. Your hard work, commitment, and enthusiasm continue to shine through, and it’s great to see your efforts being recognised at county level.

Congratulations to everyone involved – a brilliant achievement and a memorable experience!

This bank holiday weekend, Corby Swimming Club swimmers took part in the annual COSSS No Frills Open Meet, held at Sheffield’s Ponds Forge International Swimming Pool.

As always, our swimmers enjoyed competing at one of the UK’s top venues against strong competition at one of our favourite meets.

Once again, they did themselves proud with some fantastic swims, plenty of PBs, and even some medals 🙂

A huge thank you goes to our team managers for the weekend — Sara, Laura, Karen and Stacey — as well as Ross on coaching duties. We couldn’t do these meets without you.❤️

Saturday evening saw the Corby junior team take part in Round 2 of the Leicestershire Diddy League at Whitwick and Coalville Leisure Centre.

In front of our dedicated travelling supporters (thank you, parents ⭐️), the Corby swimmers put in another brilliant performance to finish first overall on the evening.🥇

Our young team are getting better with every round, and we are really looking forward to the 3rd and final gala, which will be held at the Corby East Midlands International Pool on Saturday 20th June, where we will fight hard to retain our Diddy League title.

Well done, everyone — we can’t wait for the final.

📚🏊‍♂️ It’s exam season…

Wishing all our swimmers at Corby Swimming Club the very best as they balance revision alongside training and competitions.

We know it’s not always easy. Early mornings, late nights, time in the pool — all on top of studying — takes real commitment and determination. It’s a lot to manage, and you should be proud of the effort you are putting in both in and out of the water.

At Corby we have always understood the pressures that this time of year can bring. If you need to adjust your training or take a bit of time, that’s absolutely fine — your wellbeing and your education come first.

Keep going — all the hard work you are putting in now, both in the pool and in the classroom, is laying the foundations for a strong future.

Day 5 is complete, bringing the 2026 East Midlands Long Course Championships to a close—and what a fantastic championship it has been.

For Corby, it’s been another strong day in the pool, with 17 finalists and an incredible 6 medals 🥇🥈🥉

A special mention must go to Sam, who capped off his meet in style with a superb gold in the Male 17/Over 800m Freestyle—a brilliant way to finish. Well done, Sam 🥇

Congratulations to all Corby swimmers who raced today and over the weekend. The effort and determination on display have been first-class from start to finish.

We’d also like to congratulate all swimmers and teams who competed. It’s been great to see such a high standard of racing in our home pool.

Finally, a big thank you to all the officials, coaches, team managers, volunteers, and supporters who made the event possible.

Now it’s time for a well-earned rest for everyone involved—you’ve earned it 👏

Day 4 at the 2026 East Midlands Regional Championships has come and gone, and the Corby swimmers have once again done us proud with outstanding performances across the board.😍

On a tough day of competition, we had 16 Corby finalists. From those finals, our swimmers brought home another six medals—an absolutely brilliant effort⭐

A special mention must go to Holly, who followed up her gold in the Female 15 Years 200m Fly last weekend with a superb victory in the 100m Fly today, sealing a fantastic double. Well done, Holly!🏅

Racing on Day 3 of the 2026 Long Course East Midlands Regional Championships has come to a close, and what a day of racing it has been from the Corby team at their home pool. All of our swimmers excelled as usual, bringing their ‘A’ game and giving it their all.👊⭐️

Including heat-declared events, Corby swimmers appeared in a total of 13 finals—another superb achievement. Of those finalists, there were silver medals for:

• Holly in the Female 15 Yrs 200m Freestyle🥈
• Sam in the Open/Male 17/Over 400m Freestyle🥈
• Ollie in the Open/Male 16 Yrs 200m Breaststroke🥈

Weekend 2 of the 2026 Long Course East Midlands Regional Championships are upon us, and this time we are on home turf at the fabulous Corby East Midlands International pool for 2 days of top class swimming action 🏊‍♀️ 🔥

The Corby swimmers are ready to go and looking forward to hosting, and competing against, the best swimmers that the East Midlands has to offer.

The pool action will no doubt be fast and frantic come the weekend, so for now, good luck to all the competitors and we look forward to seeing everyone bright and early on Saturday morning.
