A Blast from the Past!

One of our engineers recently discovered something incredible while on site… a fire extinguisher that our Director, Simon, supplied and installed all the way back in 1983!

It had been tucked away in a cupboard for decades, and it’s amazing to see a piece of our history still around after all this time.

While we definitely wouldn’t recommend relying on a 40+ year old extinguisher today, it’s a great reminder of how long West-Fire has been committed to keeping people and properties safe.

Fire Warden Training🧯

This week our training officer was busy on site delivering Fire Warden Training, covering both the essential theory and practical elements needed to carry out the role effectively.

The sessions explored fire safety awareness, the responsibilities of a Fire Warden and the correct procedures to follow in the event of a fire. The practical exercises are a key part of the training, helping participants apply what they’ve learned and build confidence in responding to real life situations.

It was great to see strong engagement from the groups throughout the sessions.
