We have butterflies 🦋
For the past few weeks raindrops have been learning about life cycles 🦋 🐛
They have learnt all about the life cycle of a butterfly! We started off with tiny little caterpillars and we watched them get bigger and bigger until they made themselves a cocoon, the children waited 2 weeks, and when we came back after the weekend the butterflies had came out their cocoons. The children were so excited to see all of the butterflies 🦋

🚮🚮🌈🌈 A small group of our older children chose not too join in with Yoga this afternoon so instead we decided to go litter picking.. we walked around the park close to our nursery and we found lots of litter on the ground and using our grabbers carefully we were able to collect it all in a bin bag and put it in the bin.
As we walked around collecting the litter the children were engaging in conversation and explaining the rubbish should be in a bin and how it is dangerous for the animals to have litter on the ground.
Well done Raindrops. Good job collecting so much litter from around nursery 🌈 🌈🚮🚮

What a busy few weeks Rainbows have had. We have had lots of fun at nursery making crafts and pictures to take home and sharing lots of meaningful moments together,
Having different activities for the children to expand their learning and practice how imaginative they can be.
