🚧 Fencing Works Update 🐇

Progress is well underway on the installation of rabbit-proof fencing around the raised pitch, as you can see from the latest photos below. This work will help protect the surface from damage and ensure it remains safe and playable for everyone.

While the works are ongoing, we kindly ask all visitors to be mindful in this area—especially when walking dogs or allowing children to play nearby, as there are open trenches and equipment in use.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation while these improvements are carried out!

🧹 Keeping Our Community Sparkling!

A massive THANK YOU to the Coningsby & Tattershall Wombles for their incredible hard work and dedication. It’s because of volunteers like you that our parishes stay clean, green, and beautiful for everyone to enjoy. 🌿✨

Thank you to all those who attended the thank you breakfast and to Morrisons Daily, the co-opertive and papworths for their donations to make it possible.

We also want to give a special shout-out to the team and little helpers from Dandilions Day Nursery and Kids Club! They joined us to kick off their new weekly litter pick, and we are so proud to see the next generation taking such pride in their community. 👣🗑️

From litter picking in the sun to enjoying some well-deserved cake (how amazing is that Wombles design?! 🎂 thank you Cllr Jacqueline Sarah Gravett ), it was a fantastic day of community spirit.

Let’s all do our part to Keep Britain Tidy! 🇬🇧

Council Meeting tonight at 7:30pm in the community hall, please come along if you can.

Coningsby Town Council – Monthly Update
As we move further into the year, Coningsby Town Council continues to focus on supporting our residents, maintaining our local environment, and strengthening community partnerships.

Working Together for Coningsby
We are pleased to share that we have recently been in contact with BAE Systems, based at RAF Coningsby, who have expressed a strong interest in supporting the local community. Their team is keen to volunteer time and skills to initiatives that will make a positive impact in and around Coningsby.

We are currently exploring potential opportunities where this support could be most beneficial — whether through environmental projects, community events, youth engagement, or practical improvements within the town. This is a fantastic example of local organisations working together for the benefit of our residents, and we look forward to sharing more updates soon.

If you are part of a local group, charity, or organisation that could benefit from volunteer support, please get in touch with the Town Council.

Keeping Coningsby Tidy
Thank you to everyone who continues to take pride in our town. Small actions — from disposing of litter responsibly to reporting maintenance issues — make a big difference. If you notice any concerns in public spaces, please contact the Town Council office so we can address them promptly. You can do this via email to: [email protected] or tel: 01526343523.

Upcoming Meetings
Town Council meetings remain open to the public, and residents are warmly encouraged to attend. This is your opportunity to hear about local matters, raise questions, and contribute to discussions affecting the community. The next meeting is on the 16th April which is the council annual parish meeting at 7pm in the Coningsby Community Hall.

Meeting dates and agendas are available on our website and noticeboards.

Stay Connected
We encourage residents to stay up to date by visiting our website and following our official channels. If you have suggestions, ideas, or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us — we value your input.

Together, we can continue to make Coningsby a welcoming, vibrant, and supportive place to live.
