🚧 ROAD CLOSURES & TRAVEL INFORMATION 🚧

Planning your visit to the Congleton Food & Drink Festival?

High Street, Mill Street and Swan Bank will be closed to traffic from 7am–6pm to allow the event to take place safely.

Our advice? Leave the car at home and take the FREE Beartown Bus funded by Congleton Town Council.

💙 Celebrating Volunteers' Week 💙

This Volunteers' Week (1–7 June), we'd like to say a huge thank you to all the incredible volunteers who give their time, energy and skills to support our community.

There are simply too many wonderful volunteers to mention individually. From community groups and charities to environmental projects, youth organisations, sports clubs, events and neighbourhood initiatives, volunteers are at the heart of what makes Congleton such a special place to live.

Earlier this year, many of these amazing people were recognised through the Town Mayor's Civic Awards. Behind every nomination was a powerful story of kindness, commitment and community spirit. It was an honour to celebrate these remarkable individuals and groups.

To every volunteer across Congleton — whether your contribution is large or small, visible or behind the scenes — thank you. Your commitment makes a real difference every day.

The countdown is on for Congleton Food & Drink Festival!

Join us on Sun 7 June, 10.30am–4.30pm, in Congleton Town Centre for a fantastic day of food, drink, entertainment and family fun.

With more than 80 stalls, you'll find everything from local produce and artisan treats to international street food, craft beers and gins.

Getting to the Congleton Food & Drink Festival couldn't be easier.

Congleton Town Council is funding a FREE Beartown Bus service for festival day. The routes don't normally run on Sundays, but special buses will operate throughout the day using the usual Monday-Saturday timetable. Buses run approximately every 30 minutes. As part of Volunteers' Week, Congleton in Bloom is inviting residents to lend a hand at the next Town Tidy Day on Saturday 6 June.

From litter picking to gardening, every helping hand makes a difference. Help get the town looking its best ahead of Britain in Bloom judging. Meet at the Community Garden, Lawton Street, from 10am–12pm.

Join Congleton in Bloom's Town Tidy Day on Saturday 6 June and help prepare the town for RHS Britain in Bloom judging.
Meet at the Community Garden, Lawton Street, from 10am–12pm.
