What’s happening in legion park????
A few days ahead of schedule, the refurbishment of our beloved Legion park has begun.
The works will be carried out by Landcare Solutions Scotland LTD, a family run company from Glasgow, and will carry on into October, but the main green space will be kept open and available for use so far is as practically possible.
If this is all news to you, then the plans for the design of the new park can be seen in our noticeboard down at the park itself!
This may be the first you’ve heard from us in a while, but there’s been loads going on behind the scenes, from architect design and liaising with green space Scotland, to the tender process and contractor selection and so much more in between, all after almost five years of hard work and fundraising…….
Finally the time is upon us and this is where it all pays off!
Keep an eye on this page as we will keep you up to date as to when the work goes through the phases as ALL areas will be affected at some point over the next twelve weeks or so.
