271 Air Training Corps (Colwyn Bay) Royal Air Force Air Cadets You will also have a chance to go flying or go on Annual Camps. We also help other Charities like the British legion and the RAFA.

While you are in the Air Training Corps you will Gain awards like DofE (Duke of Edinburgh) and you will learn about the Rifle, History of the RAF and the ATC. You will also have a choice to help with Rhyl Air Show.We have been adopted by the RAFA in Rhyl and we also go do some fundraising for the Squadron, British Legion and the RAFA.

📣 And That’s a Wrap! 📣

The No. 2 Welsh Wing Engagement Team and local
Squadrons have now wrapped up an incredible weekend supporting the RAF Show in Wrexham.

Over the last three days in Queen’s Square and Llwyn Isaf, it’s been fantastic engaging with the local community, showcasing the opportunities available through the RAF Air Cadets, and celebrating the Royal Air Force.

Thank you to everyone who came along to speak with us, showed their support, and helped make the event such a success. It’s been a brilliant weekend filled with great conversations, community spirit, and pride in all that the RAF and RAF Air Cadets represent.

We’re proud to have been part of such a fantastic event and look forward to supporting many more in the future.

Today 37 cadets and 6 staff from across the Wing had the privilege of attending the Williams F1 team HQ for their STEM experience.

Cadets took part in a composites workshop looking at nose cones and crash structures, an e-sports racing session and a guided tour of the heritage museum.
