Do you know someone who would like to trial a shopfront on Coleshill High Street? Why not pop along to our AGM and opening event this week?

Our AGM is on Thursday 3rd September at our new premises on Coleshill High Street. The official agenda will be addressed at 6.15pm and from approximately 6.30pm onwards it will be a chance to talk about the future plans with the new shop and how it can help in the community.

The Mayor will officially open the building, there will be celebratory drinks and snacks and it’s will be a great opportunity to talk directly about what’s happening in Coleshill and how we might be able to help connect you with support.

The Partnership committee have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to secure funding as a way to help businesses and groups grow in Coleshill. We have secured a grant from the HS2 Business and Local Economy Fund (BLEF). This BLEF fund has been created by HS2 to support local economies and business communities along the route that are demonstrably disrupted by the construction of HS2. We believe this new High Street Enterprise Exchange will be hugely beneficial for our town and we really hope the community will come out to support us.

Across our area, there are a number of funding programmes available to support community initiatives and economic development. I have arranged an event to help local organisations find out more about funding available and get support with some of the challenges local groups have reported to me when applying for funds.

OUR 70s & 80s DISCO IS GETTING A NEW DATE!

We’ve made the decision to postpone our 70s & 80s Disco Night until the New Year.

September and October are shaping up to be incredibly busy months in Coleshill, with so many fantastic events being organised by our local groups, organisations and businesses.

As the Coleshill Partnership, one of our key aims is to support and champion our local community and the last thing we want to do is compete with the very groups and businesses we’re here to support.

So, rather than squeeze another event into an already packed calendar, we’re going to save those disco balls, dancing shoes and questionable 80s dance moves for the New Year!

Already bought a ticket? Don’t worry, we’ll be in touch directly regarding your ticket and the rearranged event.

Thank you, as always, for supporting the Coleshill Partnership and our events. In the meantime, we hope you’ll get behind the brilliant programme of local events happening across Coleshill this autumn.

And when our disco DOES return… we’ll make sure it’s worth the wait!

Funding is available for projects that can make a lasting difference in North Warwickshire.

Through the North Warwickshire Prosperity Fund, community groups, businesses and organisations can apply for funding to support projects that align with the Council's priorities and deliver clear benefits for local people and places.

There is no minimum or maximum grant amount, and funding can be used for both capital and revenue projects.

The next application deadline is Friday 21 August.
