Do you enjoy walking and want to give something back to your community?

Walking for All is looking for a volunteer to help lead our friendly Tuesday evening walking group in Portstewart (7pm, approx. 45 minutes).

You’ll support an existing experienced leader—helping guide the walk, welcome participants, and create a positive, inclusive atmosphere.
✅ No experience needed
✅ Free training and support provided
✅ Meet new people & build skills
✅ Enjoy weekly walks along the beautiful Nuns Walk

💚 Join Team Macmillan Event Support Volunteers Needed Across Northern Ireland on Friday 12th June.

Macmillan give people living with cancer everything they’ve got and this June, you can be part of that impact.

MacMillan are looking for enthusiastic, friendly volunteers to join us as Event Support Volunteers for our Big Bucket Collection Day on Friday 12 June 2026. If you enjoy working with others, love supporting your community, and want to make a real difference, we’d be delighted to have you on the team.

🟩 Where?
Collections will take place across 11 major towns:
Belfast, Derry/Londonderry, Craigavon, Ballymena, Newry, Coleraine, Omagh, Enniskillen, Lisburn, Newtownards, and Antrim.

🕒 Coleraine:
10am – 4pm with flexible 2‑hour shifts:

10am–12pm

12pm–2pm

2pm–4pm

This opportunity is open to volunteers aged 18+. Full details will be shared in your volunteer brief closer to the event.

From 1–7 June, we’re celebrating the amazing volunteers who make Causeway Coast and Glens a better place every single day.

In partnership with Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council and Limavady Volunteer Centre, we’re hosting a series of special events to recognise the people who give their time, skills and heart to our communities.

✨ Don’t forget — EPIC Awards are open all year round!
It’s a free volunteer recognition programme for volunteers of all ages who complete 50, 100 or 200 hours within a calendar year. Why not sign up, log your hours, and celebrate your achievements with us at one of our Volunteers’ Week events.

Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, together with the Causeway Loneliness Network, Northern Area Autism Forum, National Trust and the Walking for Health Programme, has developed a series of Autism Friendly Walks to support connection, wellbeing and inclusion across our community.

These gentle, welcoming walks are a great way to get involved and they also offer an excellent opportunity to Turn Up & Try the National Trust’s Walk With Us Volunteer role, ideal for anyone interested in supporting others in a relaxed outdoor setting.

🗓 May Walks
• Carrick‑a‑Rede - 11 May
• Downhill/Mussenden - 18 May
• Giant’s Causeway - 25 May

Our Walk Leaders (in high‑vis vests) will be there to greet you. Please wear comfortable footwear and bring a light coat or umbrella.
