We’re looking for volunteers to help clear scrub from the Meend.

We’ll be meeting outside Buckstone Lodge from 10am to 1pm) on:

Sunday 16th November 2025
Sunday 14h December
Sunday 18th January 2026
Sunday 15th February
Sunday 08th March
Sunday 19th April

Equipment will be available but if you can bring your favourite gloves and tools to ensure there’s enough to go around, that would be helpful.

All volunteers over the age of 8 are welcome (those lucky enough to be aged 8 to 16 years need to bring an adult along!)

Calling local people – can you help keep this view open….

We want to keep you all ‘in the loop’ with Parish Council activities by emailing you direct with meeting agendas and minutes, notice of road works and other things you may be interested in. If you would like to be added to our correspondence email address list, simply email me - [email protected] with a message reading “please add me to your mailing list, I understand that GDPR protocol will be followed and that should I subsequently want my name removed from the list, a written request to that effect will be actioned immediately and without question.”

YOUR VIEWS WANTED. The Parish Council spends around 15% of the precept on grass cutting in and around the village. The precept is the Parsh Council element of the Council Tax charge. Bearing that in mind we would love to know if you think we should keep the arrangement as it is, or would you prefer fewer area to be cut, or the current ones more or less frequently? Please state which areas. Please email your views to [email protected] no later than 24 October. Thank you.
