Gale Boundary Stones

Hi,
On Saturday my wife and I walked from the Car Park just past the Jocky Pub along the Tarmac Road to the Coity-Mawr Quarry and Pit
Site which is almost directly behind the Big Pit Museum.
On the way back about Grid Ref 232 088 just about where you can turn off down onto the Stony Path I stopped to look at the sort of netting wire fence you put around a tree to protect it from animals. It turned out to be a fence around a Sink Hole.

One of 3 Viney Hill Parish Boundary Stones.
The letters on the top row read V.H.A.S.D.
Which stand for Viney Hill All Saints District.
The second row reads No. 1.
The third row reads 1866, the year the Parish was created.
