⛳🌟✨ Bright Lives Takes on Mini Golf in Clacton! ✨🌟⛳

What a fantastic day out for Bright Lives! Today, our students headed to Clacton for a fun-filled game of mini golf, putting their skills to the test and enjoying plenty of laughs along the way! 🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♀️😄

From tricky obstacles to impressive shots, everyone had the chance to get involved, practise their skills and cheer each other on. There were plenty of laughs, great attempts and some fantastic putting throughout the day! 💛

Activities like mini golf are a brilliant way to build confidence, encourage teamwork and develop coordination in a fun and supportive environment.

🌟 EXCITING UPDATE – BRIGHT LIVES LEXDEN 🌟

We are delighted to share some exciting news about our new Bright Lives Lexden Centre, formerly the COCO Care site.

We have now been granted a new lease and are simply waiting for the paperwork to arrive for final review and sign-off.

This means that Bright Lives will be returning to the Lexden site, bringing our approach, activities and opportunities to this familiar venue.

We have already welcomed some of the key former COCO Care staff into the Bright Lives team, helping us provide continuity and familiar faces. We are also looking forward to welcoming many former COCO Care customers back to Lexden, alongside new people joining Bright Lives.

🎉 We have an exciting programme waiting for you!

While we prepare the Lexden Centre, we have made additional space within our existing Bright Lives services so that people don’t have to wait. Our Bright Lives team is working alongside staff from Lexden to provide continuity, familiarity and support during the transition.

There is some work to do at the Lexden site to bring the building up to the standard we want for everyone who uses it. Once we have access, we will be working hard to complete these improvements and return to Lexden as soon as possible.

This is an exciting new chapter for Bright Lives and for the people and families who know and love the Lexden site. ❤️

# Finally, we know that many people have been asking about opportunities to join the Bright Lives team. 💙

We will be looking to recruit additional staff as our new Lexden service grows. Once we have a clearer picture of how many people will be joining us and the level of support required, we will be able to invite further applicants for interview.

As a Social Enterprise, we do need to grow responsibly. Additional staffing has to be supported by the income generated as more people choose Bright Lives for their care and support. The more support we receive from families, professionals and our local community, the more opportunities we can create.

Today, Bright Lives headed to the Maldon Military Museum for an interesting and educational day exploring military history! 🪖📚

Our team had the opportunity to look around the museum, discover historical items and learn more about the people, events and stories connected to military history. 🔎🧠

Today, Bright Lives got creative as we worked on making props for our latest film project! 🎥🍿

From coming up with ideas to creating and preparing the props, our team got the chance to bring their imaginations to life and help make our film world feel even more realistic! 🌟🎬

🥷💪✨ Bright Lives Takes on Ninja Warrior in Chelmsford! ✨💪🥷

Today, Bright Lives headed to Ninja Warrior in Chelmsford for an action-packed day of challenges, obstacles and plenty of fun! 🌟🏃

Our students had the opportunity to test their skills, take on exciting obstacles and encourage each other along the way. There were plenty of challenges to tackle, but everyone gave it their best shot! 💛

💌✨ Bright Lives Makes Some Very Special Cards! ✨💌

Today, Bright Lives got creative and made some special cards for one of our lovely staff members, who will be back with us very soon! 💙🌟

Our students put lots of thought, creativity and care into making each card, creating something personal to welcome them back and let them know just how much they’re missed 😊💐

🚀🎂🔥💦✨ DAY 12 AT WALTON – THE FINAL DAY OF THE SUMMER HOLIDAYS! ✨💦🔥🎂🚀

What an incredible way to finish the summer holidays! For Day 12 at Walton, Bright Lives packed the day full of creativity, delicious food, fun and plenty of unforgettable memories! 🌞🌊

Our students started by getting creative and designing their very own rocket ships 🚀✨, letting their imaginations take off with some fantastic and unique designs.

The creativity continued as everyone had the chance to design their own cakes 🎂🎨, coming up with colourful and imaginative ideas for their perfect creations!

Then it was time to enjoy an AWESOME BBQ! 🔥🍔🌭 Everyone came together to enjoy some delicious food, relax and celebrate the final day of an amazing summer holiday programme 💛

And what better way to end it all than with an EPIC WATER FIGHT! 💦🔫😄 There were plenty of laughs, splashes and surprise attacks as everyone got involved in one final burst of summer fun!

🕹️🎮✨ Bright Lives Goes Retro at Urban Xtreme Colchester! ✨🎮🕹️

Today, Bright Lives travelled back in time with a fantastic trip to Urban Xtreme Retro Arcade in Colchester! Our students had a brilliant time playing a variety of classic retro games and enjoying all the nostalgia of the arcade 🕹️👾

But that wasn't all! The team also took on some mini axe throwing, putting their aim, focus and coordination to the test in a fun and exciting activity 🎯🌟
