WWAD A heartfelt mission to ensure the resettlement package for service leavers equips them for life after

This is a strategic approach guided by members to try and get the resettlement package changed to accommodate the transition from the military into civilian life. From better employability advice and options to mandatory registration with certain bodies and quarterly check-ins on base. These are general initial thoughts but we hope to involve as many people as possible, we want to hear your thoughts and opinions and together make a positive change for our loved ones.

2nd year with our old and new family from the The Rawthey Project CIC absolutely loved every second. One week a year surrounded by people big and small with their own story. Even met a few who knew my dad this year. Rawthey stands for everything that’s right in my and others worlds. Beautiful initiative giving a hand up not a hand out. Big thanks to Cappy again for bringing us into his world introducing us to all the wonderful people and continuing to be a positive part of our lives❤️ No man woman or child left behind!

Apologies for being absent on the page, been a difficult journey losing a couple more to the same circumstances but moving forward our plan is to build our presence and push to a more positive future for all❤️

Shannon here,
Today was so strange. My dad was never one to make a fuss of Remembrance Day, strong opinions about fakes making a big deal of folk they didn’t even know. I felt that today. We paid our respects at our cenotaph and left our notes/Poppy’s. Remember those who are still here also. Those who are physically with us but mentally on/in a battlefield. Today is a worldwide/socialised/publicised reminder to our vets for the brothers they lost. It’s different for the boys. Pay respect to all. Not some.

Remember those we lost on the battlefield and those who can’t leave the battlefield
