⚡ EV charging is coming to Money Hill car park ⚡

We’re installing 12 new EV changing bays at Money Hill car park, off Nottingham Road in Ashby, from Monday 14 September. 📅

The six new double-headed 11kW chargers will be covered by a solar canopy, with extra battery storage. 🔆🔋

Money Hill car park will remain open whilst the work takes place, although a small number of spaces will be unavailable during installation. We plan to have the work completed by Christmas.

The new charging hub is funded by the Government’s LEVI fund to increase the number of EV charging options across the district.

The annual fair returns to Ashby town centre from Friday 18 September to Tuesday 22 September.

Key information for visitors:

🕒 Opening times:
Friday 5pm-11pm
Saturday 12pm-11pm
Sunday 12pm-8pm
Monday 4pm-10pm
Tuesday 4pm-10pm.

🅿️ Parking: North Street, Hood Park Short Stay, South Street and Money Hill car parks will be available.

🚧 Road closures: Market Street and Brook Street will be closed, while additional temporary traffic restrictions, parking suspensions and one-way systems will affect surrounding roads.

More travel information is available before you set off.
