The NWL Let’s Get Moving Awards returns for 2026 with two fantastic ceremonies to celebrate the incredible achievements of our residents across North West Leicestershire, as well as some brand-new categories!

Do you know a school, sports club, team or individual who has gone above and beyond to get people active and moving?

🏫 School Categories include:
• Let’s Get Moving School of the Year
• Primary School Team of the Year
• Secondary School Team of the Year
• Let’s Get Moving Young Hero
• Let’s Get Moving Activator

🏆 Community Categories include:
• Group or Club of the Year
• Team of the Year
• Sportsperson of the Year
• Let’s Get Moving Hero
• Let’s Get Moving Breaking Barriers Award
• Outstanding Contribution
• A brand new award to be announced on the night!

Whether it’s a young person overcoming barriers, a volunteer giving their time, or a team achieving success, now is your chance to recognise them.

Do you have back pain?

To be eligible you must be:

• Aged 18 years or older
• In chronic non-specific Low Back Pain for >3 months or recurrent episodes
• Independently mobile and needing a supervised exercise programme
• Available to attend all 12 sessions.
• Able to communicate in English without an interpreter, in a group setting

Course details are:

Escape Pain for backs
Commencing Monday 28th September
Mondays & Wednesdays 12.45 – 1.45pm
For 6 Weeks

Move Mojo are delivering a FREE Adapted Sport Workshop designed to help coaches, volunteers, support workers and community organisations develop the skills and confidence to make activities accessible for everyone.

You'll learn: • What adapted sport is and why it matters
• How to make games and activities more inclusive
• How to adapt equipment, rules and space
