This Saturday 28th March 2026, 10-12.

Arts on your doorstop. Discover the creativity of Longridge with local artist Catrin Williams. Join us to create a spring inspired scene of Longridge and explore your artistic side.

What to expect:
Meet a local artist and learn about their work.
Try out a new creative skill.
Take home your own artwork.
Help us get a picture of the creative activities available in Longridge.

Ribble Valley Borough Council’s ARTS EXCELLENCE GRANTS.
These grants are available for young people aged 9+, with a strong track record in their chosen discipline of dance, drama and music (instrumental and voice).

Ribble Valley Borough Council's RECREATION & CULTURE GRANTS. For projects that boost community health & wellbeing through increasing access to arts, sports and community activities.

Ribble Valley Borough Council’s ARTS EXCELLENCE GRANTS.
These grants are available for dance, drama and music (instrumental and voice), with priority given to young people aged 9+, still in full time education, with a strong track record in their chosen discipline.

Ribble Valley Borough Council's RECREATION & CULTURE GRANTS. For projects that boost community health & wellbeing through increasing access to arts, sports and community activities.

Come to Clitheroe for an Artwalk on Sunday the 19th October, visitors can enjoy a cultural stroll around the beautiful Lancashire town visiting its 5 galleries.

WHAT'S ON:
At the Platform Gallery
"Northern Star 2025" exhibition, free drop-in ceramics workshop, Pop Up Ceramics and Jewellery Stalls. As always, the gallery also has its Craft shop that showcases up to 30 craft makers and its Visitor Information area too....

At Atelier Arts
Look out for an interactive drawing area at Atelier Arts where you too can be an artist. Visit all the resident artists in their studios and see their most recent creations.

At Knowle Top
View owner artists photography in their new look gallery. They will introduce you to a new project Wilder Britain, supporting the charity CONSERVATION through CONVERSATION. - to help make Britain wilder and better for all.

At the Steward's Gallery

Calling all teachers and community group leaders.

We have now got an education pack that gives ideas and activities for teachers, youth group and community group leaders to deliver creative activities inspired by Dandy. To learn more about Dandy, visit the website, watch the films created, download the education packs.

Activities can be tailored to fit subjects in English, Performing Arts, Art & Design, Technology, PCSHE (Personal, Social, Health, Citizenship Education), History & Geography.

If you would like input from an artist to add more to the learning experience do get in touch.

Dandy is a sculpture installed in Clitheroe in 2024 created by Marjan Wouda Sculpture.

A few spaces still available on the free painting workskops with artist Steve Rostron this Sunday 1-2.30 & 3 - 4.30 at the St Mary's Community Hall, Whalley Road, Sabden.

For ages 16+, all abilities welcome (Don't be scared it's a relaxed session, with the main aim that you have a go and enjoy it), all equipment and materials provided.
