Meet us at the castle gates this Saturday 29th Nov, 10-4pm and visit our grotto where the big man in the red suit will have a little chat with your child and start to spread the Christmas spirit! Pictures are welcome and each child will receive a present. £5 per child with all money being donated to Child Action Northwest

Christmas in Clitheroe returns on Sat 29th Nov with all it’s festive fun …and free parking!

A touch of Christmas magic returns to Clitheroe at the end of this month with an extended weekend of festive fun. 🪄 Proceedings kick off on Friday 28th November with the annual lights switch on and crib dedication on Castlegate. 🎄The following day sees Father Christmas arrive (he can park his sleigh for free that day, thanks to !) and set up camp in town alongside some seasonal stalls and the family-favourite 'Elf Hunt' organised by . 🎅🏼 To round things off, the ever-popular 'Carols at the Castle' returns at 4pm on the Castle bandstand. 🎼 So grab your favourite Christmas jumper and come to join the big man and his band of merry elves for some jolly holiday entertainment. 💚 Erm...if you could also do some Christmas shopping/eating/drinking in our wonderful town, us indie businesses would really appreciate it! 😘

Christmas in Clither-Ho Ho Ho. 😉 See what we did there?! (It's been a long year, don't judge us!) Anyway, we thought we'd pop on the ol' socials to let you know a few things that will be happening in town over the festive period. On Friday 29th and Saturday 30th of November, we will be kicking off Christmas with some yuletide fun. 🎄 First up, on the Friday, there will be the annual crib dedication and lights switch on alongside music from , festive food and drink, Santa's sleigh and various market stalls. The fun kicks off from 4pm and it is worth noting that lots of the shops will stay open until 8pm that evening, which makes it a perfect opportunity to start your Christmas shopping. 🎄 On the Saturday, the Chamber will work alongside , and the "Crafty Crew" and to create some more holiday cheer. Throughout the day, there will be a Santa's grotto, an Elf Hunt around the castle grounds, various festive workshops including window painting and, from 4pm, the ever-popular "Carols at the Castle" will return. We hope to see you there. 🎄

Hi folks! We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual to help at the Santa’s grotto on Sat 30th Nov. Some would call said person an Elf!
You need greet the children and hand them their gift after seeing the big man in the red suit. It’s 10-3pm with a lunch break and you will be paid. We’ll also provide the outfit.

It’s back! Save the date(s) for our infamous family-friendly, outdoor event in the heart of Clitheroe

Our famous Elf Hunt is back! And we’ve got two dates to choose from:

Sat 30th Nov 10-4pm
Sun 8t Dec 11-3pm

It’s back for one Saturday and one Sunday in December so be sure to save the dates and head on over to the event page on Facebook to let us know if you are coming 🙌🏼

Collect your trial map from us at the Castle Gates. You’ll then use this map to search for naughty elves around the castle grounds. They will each be holding a letter which you will assemble together to make up a festive word. Return to the start with your word and be rewarded with a sweet treat!

You can also Visit Santa in his grotto at the Castle Gates (Saturday only)

…remember to bring your Christmas list to post through our North Pole letter box

More details are on the event pages on Facebook. There is no pre-booking needed, just show up on the day…however, we would appreciate it if you could select the ‘going’ box so we have an idea of numbers.
