The Ribble Valley Visually Impaired Group recently enjoyed a truly wonderful experience at the Alhambra Theatre in Bradford, attending a performance of Snow White. From the moment we arrived, the day felt special, filled with excitement, laughter, and a real sense of togetherness.
The theatre staff were welcoming, helpful, and attentive, ensuring everyone felt comfortable and supported throughout the visit. The audio description provided during the performance was excellent, bringing the story vividly to life and allowing everyone to fully appreciate the costumes, sets, and magical moments unfolding on stage.
The production itself was a delight. The music, humour, and energy of the cast created an atmosphere of joy that could be felt throughout the theatre. There were plenty of moments of laughter, along with touching scenes that reminded us all of the timeless charm of the story. It was clear how much care and effort had gone into making the performance accessible and enjoyable for all.
The trip was not just about the show, but also about shared experience and companionship. It was a chance for members to relax, socialise, and create happy memories together. The outing left everyone smiling and talking enthusiastically about their favourite parts long after the curtain had fallen.
The Ribble Valley Visually Impaired Group would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the Alhambra Theatre, Bradford, and Minds Eye Audio Description for an inclusive, memorable, and magical experience. It was a day that will be fondly remembered by all who attended.
