Mental Health Swims Margate Community Dip 🏊🏾
Dips not distance, community not competition. We’re a friendly group who get together to swim. We embrace all shapes and sizes!

New people are always made to feel welcome, so don't worry if it's your first time! On the day, we ask everyone attending to be kind to each other. It’s also important to listen to your bodies when in the water as we don't want you getting too cold. Whether you wear a wetsuit, swimming cossie, leggings and a t-shirt, shorts, woolly hat, gloves, boots, tankini, mankini or full on diver suit, all ar

e welcome. Useful things to bring are a towel, a warm drink, a snack and warm clothes to change into. Some people find a hot water bottle useful or a changing robe, if you have one.

We never want new swimmers to think they need to throw lots of money at clothing to swim with us. Instead, come along, see what we wear and over time, you’ll find what you want to invest in versus not. Even then, we have swimmers that come all year round in bikinis.
