Below
Yellow item
is a blow up lilo not to be used in a paddling pool, also feel free to dispose of it this isn’t a local tip.
Blue item
a sand castle item , again not to be used in the pool this has been pulled out of the pool pipes this morning thus blocked the filter pipe for several days - not cool.
Green item
A spade this one is in tact but broken will cause an injury, pretty sure it’s for a sandpit not a pool.
Last picture
This is a paddling pool, not a bath to wash the sand off after a busy day on the beach, the filters are working flat out to clear the sand which cause the water to go cloudy but takes ages like days to do.
The pool water quality is in tip top condition, but aesthetically it looks cloudy because of the sand.

Be smart brush the sand off before entering the pool area please, help us out 👍

Last but not least if the bins are full less than 15m outside of the pool area are lots of other bins.

Have a blessed day everyone one thing today be kind to yourself, to people and to the environment.

Please note we have been made aware of an outbreak of Slapped Cheek in this area , this is more contagious when using shared facilities such as paddling pools.
It is spread via bodily fluid.
We use chlorine within the pool and have slightly increased the doseage, in case it is present in our facility, the levels are all still within safe limits.
We have also done a 50/50 swap in freshwater.

Please continue to use the pool in a safe manner but try to educate your children not to put things in their mouth, easier said than done, I’ve been there.

The chemical levels in the pool are rigoursly checked for safe levels ensuring the users safety.

Google :-
Like many viral infections, it is spread by mucus from an infected person when sneezing or coughing. This mucus is carried by hand to the mouth or nose of another person. The incubation period for slapped cheek disease is usually between four and 14 days after contact (in rare cases, up to 21 days).

As the summer season for 2024 is starting, a quick reminder that the fountain is to be kept clear of and to not be obstructed. Please can be remind users to keep children and pool toys off of it as it can result in pool closure due causing failure in the pump. Thank you

Please do not bring your dogs into the enclosed pool area and definitely do not allow them into the pool, it is not suitable for dogs, our chlorine levels are kept quite high.

This area is designed as a safe area for children.

Dogs Drinking chlorinated pool water can lead to gastrointestinal upset, including symptoms like vomiting, diarrhea, and stomach discomfort. Prolonged exposure to chlorine can also cause irritation to the the dog's skin, mouth, throat, and esophagus.

It’s sad that we even have to write this post.

Lastly while we appreciate some people like to drink Stella while supervising your children, don’t be stupid and bring glass bottles into pool area, it’s a bit daft and ill thought out in our opinion.

We have been made aware that there are rumours circulating from ill informed and frankly malicious people on this page and other Cleethorpes pages..
The paddling pool has been refurbished this year running into the £1,000's (already reached £12,000 mostly on plant room materials pumps pipes filters.) no money has been received from any external organisation, no grant funding for the pool has been received, despite ill informed people stating we have, this has been funded by the careful planning of our business and the free time we dedicate to keep the pool open as much as possible.

Not that we should have to justify to anyone our our business and commitment to the community.

The pool has been open in the last 5 years the longest hours each season, we have given 110% to keep the pool open, at great costs and no cost to the community, we've received an enormous amount of backlash and hate for our actions in keeping a free to use paddling pool open.

Quite frankly some of the comments are disgusting, outrageous and certainly not becoming of grown adults, but alas we live in a world where adults can act like children behind a keyboard, it makes it very hard not to retaliate to comments, but the vast majority of face to face contact we have is very positive and the work that we do and don't shout about because we don't need to pulls us through each day knowing we are making a difference to peoples lives in a positive manner.

In relation to the grant funding that has been mentioned in various comments, we have secured a grant yet to be paid, this will part fund the sandpit project which project costs currently stand at £24,000.
The Grant is around £14,000 (we wont split hairs over a few £100) we have to contribute 10% towards this, now you don't have to a be a mathematician to do the sums and work out we are contributing well over 70%.

So next time you feel the urge to type a malicious, rude, or blatant lie on social media why not get off your couch and make a difference in your community like we do.......................but that would be too simple.

Any questions please pop by in person to ask we are an open book.
