Have you had a go yet?

Check out Chorley this Christmas and enjoy a ride above the rooftops with family and friends on Chorley's GIANT Ferris wheel. It's in Chorley town centre until Sunday 3 January with plenty of Christmas market stalls selling delicious food and drink, so make sure you come and have a go while you can.

Tickets can be purchased at the entrance to the wheel on the Flat Iron and are just £4 for adults, £2 for children and concessions or £10 for a family ticket. The GIANT wheel is open Sunday to Wednesday 12 noon to 6pm, Thursday 12 noon to 8pm and Fridays and Saturdays 10am to 8pm. The only day it is closed is Christmas Day.

Christmas is just two days away, pop into the town centre today for all your last minute essentials. Many shops will be open until 8pm and there’s free parking after 5!

As part of Small Business Saturday, Chorley Traders Alliance has organised a brilliant hamper raffle prize with tickets available with purchases from participating independent town centre shops. There'll be an arts and crafts stall for the youngsters, face painting and the town crier will be about.

Don't forget, there's also free storytelling sessions around the giant book at the covered market each Saturday until 20 December at 11am, 12noon, 2pm and 3pm telling the enchanting Nutcracker story and take part in the special Nutcracker Trail to win prizes!

Small Business Saturday takes place this weekend and with just three more shopping weekends before Christmas it’s the perfect time to get all your Christmas shopping ticked off.
There will be lots of activities going on in the town centre to celebrate and remind shoppers why it’s so important to shop locally.

Here's an update on the Market Street improvements - the length of Market Street will be re-opened to traffic until the New Year after the Christmas lights switch on this weekend.

This could quite possibly be Lancashire's smallest pub! The Bob Inn opened its doors for the first time this weekend under the covered market and measures in at just 11ft x 9ft! Pop in for a drink next time you're in the town centre and see the size for yourself, you'll be amazed at what owners Steve and Jill have done with the space.
