🌟 Free Life-Saving Defib & CPR Awareness Session – This Sunday! 🌟

Hello wonderful preschool families and Euxton friends!

As a little community, we all look out for each other ❤️ Knowing how to use a defibrillator (and simple CPR) could one day help save a friend, neighbour, or even one of our own little ones in an emergency.

We’re excited to share this completely FREE 1-hour session happening right on our doorstep:
📅 This Sunday, 15th February
🕥 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM
📍 Euxton Community Centre

No experience needed – it’s friendly, hands-on, and perfect for grown-ups (parents, grandparents, carers, locals).

Come along, learn these important skills in a relaxed way, and feel more confident in our community.

So pop along early or tag a friend who might like to join!

Today our preschool came together to remember. We talked about kindness, bravery, and the people and animals who helped keep us safe. The children created beautiful poppy artwork and took a quiet moment to reflect in their own little way. Lest we forget ❤️🥀

Sometimes life brings us stories that are almost too hard to comprehend. Beautiful little Emilia is facing an incredibly tough battle with DIPG, a rare and aggressive brain tumour. Her family are desperately trying to raise the funds needed for potentially life-saving treatment abroad.

If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, or even just share her story, it could help give Emilia the chance she so deeply deserves.

A Big Day For Little Feet 👣❤️✨

This morning feels a little more special.
You notice how their shoes seem that bit bigger,
their jumper a touch too neat,
their smile a mix of brave and shy.

You watch every detail –
the way their hand squeezes yours a little tighter,
then lets go a little sooner.

Whether they skip in with excitement
or hold back with wobbling tears,
today is the first of many.

The first day of new friends and giggles,
of scraped knees and muddy shoes,
of stories they’ll be eager to share,
and adventures waiting just beyond the classroom door.

You’ve carried them through every step until now,
and today, you set them on their next.
So stand tall, be proud, and hold close the thought –
this is not an ending,
but the most wonderful beginning. 💛

It’s been non-stop over the summer—from working hard behind the scenes on admin, to painting, changing the room around, buying/setting up new resources. We’re so excited for the children to see it all tomorrow & to get back into routine 🌟

We’re on the lookout for a Bank Member of Staff / Volunteer to join our lovely little team – with the chance of contracted hours in the future.

Our days run 9am–3pm (staff hours: 8:30–3:30) and we’re happy to chat about hours that work for you.

If you…
💛 Love working or interacting with children
✨ Have a big smile and a caring nature
🙌 Can be flexible and muck in when needed
🌳always ready with your wellies as we love to get out in all weather!

…then you could be just who we’re looking for!

It would be preferred if you hold a Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification, BUT it’s not essential – the right personality, heart & enthusiasm matter most.

🌱 Calling all community growers in Euxton Community, BUCKSHAW BEAT & surrounding areas! 🌻

After our amazing evening at Chester Zoo for the Conservation Education Awards Ceremony, our passion and drive to get the children involved in nature and sustainability has grown even stronger 🌍💚

We’re a local preschool based in the community centre in Euxton, and we’re really keen to help the children learn about where food comes from, how to grow it, and how we can all look after our planet 🍓🌿

We’d absolutely love to either:
🥕 Start our own growing project at preschool
OR
🚐 Visit somewhere local where we can roll up our sleeves and lend a hand with the children

👉 We’re hoping to get everything sorted over the summer holidays, ready to start our growing journey with the children in September – so if you can help or point us in the right direction, now’s the perfect time! 🌞

If you have any advice, know of any local allotments, gardens or farms we could connect with, or might be able to donate anything to help us get going – seeds, compost, tools, planters etc. – we’d be so grateful 🌼

We’re really passionate about giving the children hands-on experiences that help them understand the importance of conservation, sustainability and community 👧🧒🌍
