The parish council has received comments regarding black and green waste bins, please be mindful that your waste bins are not causing an obstruction to footpaths and roads.

The parish council would like to remind parishioners that the parish council owned water butts are not a dumping ground for dog poo. There are designated bins around the village specifically for that, please use them.
Please pick up after your dogs and deposit the waste in the bins provided.

SCAM EMAILS!

Hello all,

The council has been receiving scam emails from accounts pretending to be parishioners.

Please note that the councillor email addresses are .gov.uk, if you receive anything outside of this please alert the clerk to the council.

The clerk to the council currently has two email addresses whilst the migration from Gmail over to gov.uk happens.

The main email is [email protected] - please use this email address!

However, [email protected] is currently still in use until the migration is complete.

Below is an email received today from someone pretending to be Michael, who is the chair of the council. With his permission this is being shared to provide a visual of what to look for. Due to GDPR the council cannot disclose the names of other parishioners these scam emails are pretending to be.

Please be aware and check that you have not been hacked etc

Please be mindful that checks required for the defibrillator situated by the noticeboard on the side of the Methodist church rooms are visual checks only.

If the light is flashing green then the defibrillator is in working order and ready to use.

Regular opening of the defibrillator will result in a fault reading and depletion of the AED battery.

If you notice the defibrillator light is flashing red please notify the parish council immediately.

It has been discussed about having a running/cycle track around the edge of the playing field. The council would like to establish public opinion/demand for this.
Please comment whether you are for or against this idea.
