Congratulations to our Year 9 students who recently took part in the UKBC Biology Challenge, a national competition that attracted over 42,000 students from across the country.

Congratulations to our Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award students who successfully completed their practice expedition this weekend.
Despite Mother Nature throwing just about everything at them – challenging weather, difficult terrain and plenty of wildlife encounters – they showed resilience, teamwork and determination throughout.
We are incredibly proud of all they achieved and look forward to seeing them take on their qualifying expedition.

We are delighted to announce our new Sixth Form student leadership team.
Congratulations to our newly appointed Head Prefects, Lily and Theo, alongside our Deputy Head Prefects, Poppy and Harvey.
We look forward to seeing them lead the student body over the coming year and continue to make a positive contribution to the school community. We know they will be excellent role models for younger students and ambassadors for Chipping Campden School.

Today we said goodbye to our Year 11 students as they celebrated their final day.
The year group came together for a fantastic final assembly filled with laughter, memories and reflection, including a brilliant guitar solo performance. It was a lovely way to mark the end of their time together as a year group before they move on to the next stage of their journey.
Year 11 have been a pleasure to work with and we wish them all the very best for the rest of their exams and for the future.

Well done to four of our Year 12 Economics students who recently took part in the Caring for the Cotswolds small grants scheme run by .
Our students formed a youth panel and worked alongside representatives from CNL to review a range of grant applications supporting nature, local communities and climate action. Together, they helped approve grants totalling approximately £30,000.
A fantastic opportunity for students to engage with real decision-making and make a positive impact within the local community. Thank you to Cotswolds National Landscape for making this opportunity available to Chipping Campden School.

Yesterday our students were treated to a fantastic masterclass with saxophone superstar Jess Gillam. Alongside students from Burford School and KES, they enjoyed an incredible solo performance before three students were given the opportunity to receive individual feedback on their playing, with valuable advice on developing technique and sound.
The workshop concluded with all 44 students performing La Cumparsita together. Earlier this week, our Year 10 students also had the opportunity to hear Jess perform at St James’ Church, with a varied programme ranging from David Bowie to Marcello.
A truly inspiring few days of music-making and performance.

Our Year 8 students, Alice, Ava Rose and Maya recently attended the Chipping Campden LitFest, where they each shared an original poem as part of the Poetry Showcase with poet Chris Tutton.
The students represented the school brilliantly and demonstrated great creativity and confidence in performing their own work. A wonderful opportunity to celebrate young writers and the power of poetry.

Today we said goodbye to our Year 13 students as they celebrated their final day at Chipping Campden School.
The day began in traditional “Dress to Impress” style, before students came together for their final celebration assembly filled with laughter, memories and the much-loved Golden Gnome awards. The celebrations continued with a farewell BBQ as we wished them all the very best for their upcoming exams and the exciting opportunities ahead.
Year 13 have been a fantastic year group and a real credit to the school community. We are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved and look forward to hearing about their future successes.

Today saw the return of the annual Staff vs Sixth Form football match as part of our Year 13 leavers’ celebrations.
After a competitive and entertaining game, it was the students who came out on top this year. A fantastic atmosphere and a brilliant way to celebrate Year 13’s penultimate day at school.
