Heartbreaking.. ๐Ÿ˜ญ
These 4 nestling blackbirds were brought to us still in their nest, after the tree was chopped down and the parents never returned ๐Ÿ˜ž

While gardening, if you find a nest, it is against the law to disturb the nest if it is active (including eggs) and has chicks in. Please stop any work and return when the birds have fledged.

Hello everyone, due to the forecast for extreme heat on Sunday, we've decided it would be unwise to go ahead with MWV on Sunday. We will defer for a week, to 20th July.
Take care in the heat, and hope to see you on 29th. MW volunteers.

***Hi there! Apologies for the late notice. ***
Happy New Year toyou all. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
As the forecast is for a very cold day on Sunday we have decided it would be better to defer this week's MWV workday for a week until Sunday 19th. Hopefully it may be a bit warmer by then.
