Wiltshire is leading the way on tackling fly-tipping, and we’re not slowing down.

✅ #1 in the South West for fly-tipping action
✅ Targeting the real source: business waste
✅ Focusing on hotspots and taking action where it matters most

We know concerns are real, but so is our commitment to keeping Wiltshire clean, safe, and beautiful for everyone.

Together, we can protect our communities and countryside. 💚

Our Liberal Democrat budget puts learning and opportunity at the heart of Wiltshire’s future.

On the day the Government releases its White Paper on SEND, we want you to know what we are doing to support young people here in Wiltshire.

We’re investing £41 million in education and skills, including SEND, Early Years and our schools. This matters more than ever because Wiltshire is one of the lowest-funded local authorities in England for the High Needs Block.

This funding strengthens support for children who need it most and helps every young person to thrive.

Investing in every child’s future. 📚✨

Our Liberal Democrat budget puts Wiltshire’s environment first.

We’re investing £62 million into waste services, public protection and nature recovery, strengthening the work that keeps our county clean, safe and thriving.

From restoring habitats to improving recycling and protecting our natural spaces, this is a budget that looks after the Wiltshire we love.

Investing to protect and restore our environment. 🌿♻️

Our Liberal Democrat budget invests in the services that support people every day, with prevention at the heart of our priorities across Wiltshire.

We’re committing an additional £62 million to support the continued delivery of good quality services focused on protecting preventive and early help services — making sure people get the right support at the right time.

By investing in prevention, we’re reducing pressure on crisis services, supporting vulnerable residents, and helping families stay independent for longer.

A budget that protects what matters most and puts people first.

Our Liberal Democrat budget invests in a healthier, happier Wiltshire.

We’re putting £5 million into our leisure centres and libraries to improve facilities and expand sport, leisure and cultural opportunities for everyone.

And after a successful trial we’re continuing to provide free swimming in the school holidays for children on Free School Meals, helping families and giving every child the chance to stay active and have fun.

A budget that puts people first. 🟠🏊‍♀️📚

🚧 Our roads have been left to crumble for too long.

That’s why the Liberal Democrats are investing £38 million in the proposed budget to fix potholes and improve highways across our communities.

For too many residents, potholes are more than an inconvenience. They damage cars, disrupt travel and pose real safety risks. This funding is about getting the basics right and making sure our infrastructure works for everyone.

It’s time to properly invest in our roads and deliver the improvements people expect and deserve.

What Was Meant to Make £6m by 2026 Is Now £53m in Debt

Stone Circle was set up by the previous Conservative administration in 2019 with projections of a £6m profit by 2026.

The latest accounts now show:
• £53.36m owed to the Council
• £11.33m net liabilities
• Continued annual losses

Wiltshire’s new Liberal Democrat administration has commissioned a full independent forensic review of the housing companies established under the previous administration.

We are not pre-judging the findings.

But £53 million of public money demands full transparency.
The review findings will be published in full.
