Armed Forces Day 2026 – Show Your Support
Chilton Town Council will be marking Armed Forces Day 2026 by flying the Armed Forces Day flag, and hosting a civic event to honour and recognise the service and sacrifice of the Armed Forces community.
The Armed Forces Day flag will be flown on Saturday 27th June 2026, followed on Sunday 28th June by an Armed Forces Day and ‘Mayor At Home’ Coffee Morning at Hutton House, with entertainment and refreshments.
Mayor Councillor Sue Reece and Town Council Members will be hosting the coffee morning, raising funds for Combat Stress.
Combat Stress provides specialist clinical treatment and support for veterans from the British Armed Forces, focusing on those with PTSD, Complex-PTSD, and moral injury resulting from their experiences during military service. When some military personnel leave service, their experiences can’t easily be left behind.
Residents are warmly invited to show their support and join the community in recognising those who serve, past and present.
