This Saturday, 5 September, Chichester City Council are holding a Medieval Market as part the celebrations for the council being 800 years old this year! This has given us a very good reason to delve into the ChiCity archive and look for medieval documents. Here we have a deed from 1283! It has been transcribed on our catalogue, but even without knowing what it says, we are impressed by it!
