We have been promoting, tracking and awarding pledges during last week’s pledge week.

What a fantastic scoreboard and well done to Arkwright for being in 1st place with a total of 215 PLEDGES!✨

It has been really pleasing to see 565 pledges were awarded across the school during the week. Well done to all of our students for completing their pledges!

There are limited tickets available for our Summer Showcase this evening, Thursday 11th June 2026 ☀️

🎭 Our Summer Showcase is an evening of creative talent featuring over 20 performances.

🎵 There will be singing, dancing, poetry, and performances from the school band and choir.

🎟️ Adults - £4.50
🎟️ U16s + Concessions - £3.00
💖 £1 from each ticket sale will go to Diabetes UK.
🍎 Refreshments will be available on the evening.
🕠 Doors open at 5:30pm for a 6:00pm start.

We hope you can join us for what will be a fabulous show!

Speak up. Be a mate.

Before a mate jumps in, messes around with inflatables, or does something risky in open water… speak up.
Here’s the reality:

- You can’t see what’s under the water. Rocks, drops, currents - it’s not worth guessing.
- Cold water hits HARD. Even strong swimmers can panic and lose control.
- Inflatables are not safe in open water. One gust of wind and you’re gone - fast.
- Pressure isn't friendship. Real mates don’t push you into danger.
