As part of Black History Month, our Year 8 students had the privilege of hearing a representative from the African and Caribbean Community Association talk about his personal journey as part of the Windrush Generation.

Students also heard about some local history and the unveiling of the Blue Plaque for the Spencer family in Chesterfield, a family who settled in the area in the 1960’s and supported the Windrush Generation at the time.
