Update : we’re taking a short break!

The last few weeks have been very hectic at parrot house we haven’t stoped moving! So, from today until Tuesday 23ed of June, we will be temporarily closed.

During this time, we will be available for emergency’s only. We will be using this time to take a well deserved break and to catch up on some paper work. We also have new team members joining parrot house soon and we’re looking forward to introducing them on our return.

All rescues will be referred to other local associated sanctuary’s. All the birds are well looked after and there daily routine will not be affected. We thank you for your patience, understanding and support as always! 💚🦜🏡👍

Update - Rosie has found her forever home!

She will stay with parrot house until her new home is ready, we expect she will be moving in at the end of the month. Reminder we still have Jake the Amazon and plub available for adoption. ❤️🦜🏡

This beautiful plumb head parakeet is looking for his forever home! He came to us a little while ago and we have been working with him to help get him used to people.

Plumb isn’t completely tame, he doesn’t like hands and prefers to step up onto a stick. He likes to come out of his cage and fly around the room. Due to a minor beak deformity, plumb needs someone who can help him maintain his beak.

We feel plumb would be best as a house bird, as he likes to do his own thing during the day and is happy to take himself back to his cage on a night. If you feel you could offer a good home for plumb please get in touch! ❤️🦜🏡

Jake is a 30 year old male Amazon and simply loves to be out and helping you with your jobs. Jake will fly to you to join you for food, his affectionate and a very well behaved gentlemen.

Rosie is a 40 year old female blue crowned Amazon. An amazingly friendly bird, tame and loves cuddles. Rosie doesn’t like men and prefers a female caregiver.

We’re letting her settle over the next few days, however we are now looking for a suitable forever home. If you’re interested in adopting please get in touch!

Spent a lot of time and money making toys and painting them ensuring our parrots have plenty to keep them entertained…it took 2 days for them to totally obliterate the aviary 🤷‍♂️😅💚👍

We’re out in the aviary today enjoying the sun shine! You might spot slog, our latest arrival at parrot house, this sweetheart 37 YO scarlet macaw is stealing hearts and making Liea very jealous 😂👍

Meet slog! Our latest arrival at parrot house. Slog is a 37 YO scarlet macaw female. We’re letting slog get settled today and getting used to the chaos at parrot house. Liea is already facinated with slog! We will bring you an update on her progress later this week ❤️🦜🏡
