We’re looking for an experienced and caring Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team, working within a solo children’s residential home supporting one young person.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work in a smaller, more personalised setting where you can build strong relationships, provide consistent support and make a genuine difference to a young person’s life.

You’ll support with day-to-day routines, activities, appointments, school runs, personal care where required, safeguarding and helping the young person develop their confidence, independence and life skills.

We’re Recruiting Outreach Support Workers 🌟

Durham, Sunderland, Newcastle, North Tyneside and surrounding areas📍
8–20 hours per week⏰
From £14.25 per hour💷
Weekday and weekend shifts available but anyone with regular Saturday availability is a bonus

We Care Bespoke is looking for friendly, reliable and caring Outreach Support Workers to support children and young people with additional needs in the community.

The role includes:

✅ Supporting community activities and outings
✅ Promoting independence, confidence and choice
✅ Building positive and trusting relationships
✅ Following support plans and risk assessments
✅ Safeguarding the young person’s safety and wellbeing
✅ Communicating effectively and reporting concerns

Applicants must have experience supporting children or young people with additional needs and behaviours that may challenge. You should be patient, dependable, a strong communicator and committed to safeguarding.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are desirable. Drivers must have business insurance.

An Enhanced DBS check is required. Training and ongoing support will be provided.
