🍏 Let’s Get School Ready! 🧑🎓
Many of our regular little visitors will have recently found out their reception places for September and some of you may have been thinking about what it means to be “ready” for school!
Although an exciting milestone, we know it can also be very daunting, for all children and their parents and carers.
As a team of parents and Early Years advocates and experts, at Little City we are committed to supporting you in your school readiness journey - whatever that might be.
HOW CAN LITTLE CITY HELP?
Role play has such an important part to play in early years development: encouraging early language, social, emotional and cognitive development through exploring real life scenarios, to name a few!
🏫 Between now and September you can expect to see some new resources, new play areas, brand partnerships, helpful resources, experts and more in our Cities and featured in our social media pages.
We’ll be highlighting some easy, fun stuff you can do with your children to get “school ready” - and of course all through the power of PLAY - and the best bit? They won’t even know they’re learning - all the fun play activities we have in store at Little City will be aimed for them to practice and enjoy.
