This year marks the 25th anniversary of the events of September 11, 2001.

At 2.59pm on Friday 11th September, please join The Mayor and councillors at the War Memorial for a moment of reflection and a minute's silence to

Thanks to everyone that has used the bra bank in our Town Hall reception area - we have now filled our second bag!

It's great to see the donations coming in, knowing these will help Against Breast Cancer to fund its vital research.

We need your help to fill one more bag, at which point the bras will be collected and recycled. Please do drop off any bras you no longer need to support this fantastic scheme.

We are pleased to be supporting Against Breast Cancer's bra recycling scheme. If you visit the Town Hall, you will see we have a bra bank in our reception area, which we will be using to collect unwanted or unloved bras.

When enough bras have been donated, they will be collected and recycled, raising valuable funds for pioneering research into secondary spread breast cancer and preventing landfill waste in the process.

Against Breast Cancer receives £700 to fund its research for every tonne of bras collected.

Please do drop off any bras you no longer need in our bra bank to support this scheme.
