Wonderful news for our community and local environment ๐ŸŒฟ

Leckhampton Hill and Charlton Kings Common have officially been designated as the Cheltenham Escarpment National Nature Reserve, becoming part of King Charles' national programme to protect some of Englandโ€™s most important landscapes.

This recognition celebrates the area's remarkable wildlife, geology and heritage, while helping to ensure these much-loved green spaces are protected and enjoyed for generations to come.

Congratulations to all the organisations, volunteers and campaigners whose dedication has helped make this possible. ๐Ÿ’š

Leckhampton Hill and Charlton Kings Common are now known as the Cheltenham Escarpment National Nature Reserve

This free community festival brings together residents of all ages for an afternoon of live entertainment, family fun, food, games and community spirit. If you'd like to showcase your talent and be part of a fantastic local event, we'd love to hear from you!

๐ŸŽ‰ ๐–๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐š ๐๐š๐ฒ! ๐ŸŽ‰

Our ๐’๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ž๐ซ ๐…๐š๐ฒ๐ซ๐ž on Saturday 30 May was a fantastic celebration of community, bringing together hundreds of residents of all ages for a day packed with fun, entertainment and local spirit.

With over 40 stalls, a full programme of free shows, live entertainment, games and activities, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

A huge thank you to all our stallholders, performers, volunteers, sponsors and everyone who came along and supported the event. Your enthusiasm, generosity and community spirit made it a truly memorable day.

We are delighted by the incredibly positive feedback we have received so far about our ๐€๐ง๐ง๐ฎ๐š๐ฅ ๐‘๐ž๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ. Thank you to all the residents who have taken the time to write to us, call us or visit the office to share your kind comments - they are greatly appreciated ๐Ÿ™

Distribution is now almost complete, and the delivery company has confirmed that every household in Charlton Kings will have received a copy by the end of this week.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the local businesses that supported the publication by advertising with us. Their support helps us keep residents informed about the work taking place across our community.
