Recently we visited Prittlewell Priory, with our amazing tour guide Verna we learned a lot about the history of the site, it is one of the oldest buildings in Southend.

We finished our trip with a delicious picnic in the park grounds. 🧺🥪

Last week we hosted our annual MEWA Saree Party 🥻🎉

Thank you to everyone who came along, with over 60 people in attendance we spent the evening dancing, singing and enjoying all the delicious home made food everyone made.

It was truly a fantastic evening full of celebrations and a massive thank you to all the members in our community who continue to support all the work we strive to accomplish. 💜

From wildflower meadows to quiet woodland paths, on Wednesday we visited RHS Garden Hyde Hall and it was a dream to explore. We spent the whole day wandering, discovering, and enjoying the calm — and had an amazing time 🪻🌼🌾

Last week we held our Monday Exercise Session at Trinity Church 🏋️‍♀️, Tuesday Chair Exercise at North Chapel and a new addition of Just Ride Bicycle Workshops taking place at Wellbeing Garon Park 🚴‍♀️.

With catering prepared by Shaiwana we all enjoyed delicious home cooked Lebanese cuisine and everyone’s favourite homemade samosas.

It was a wonderful opportunity to support children's health, wellbeing, and confidence through fun activities, education, and community engagement. Seeing so many bright smiles reminded us how important it is to encourage healthy habits from a young age.
