Limbless Association The Limbless Association provides information and support to amputees and the limb-loss community across the UK. www.limbless-association.org

Approximately 6,000 major limb amputations are carried out in the UK every year. Whether someone is about to have an amputation or they are already living with congenital or acquired limb-loss, our objective is to enable all amputees to achieve rehabilitation and independence in hospital, home, education, employment and the community. The services that we provide include:

For James, a visit from an LA volunteer helped him see what life after amputation could hold 💙

Hearing how another amputee had adapted to everyday life gave him practical advice, reassurance and hope for the future. It also gave him someone to speak openly with about how he was feeling.
