Getting the right care at the right time matters.

Thousands of people across Essex are already benefiting from faster diagnosis, treatment and care as NHS Essex works to reduce waiting times and improve access to services.

In a new blog, Sam Goldberg, our Executive Director of Commissioning explains how we’re:

✅ Investing in additional treatment capacity for 7,500 more patients this year
✅ Reducing waits for planned care
✅ Bringing more services closer to home
✅ Using digital technology to speed up diagnosis and treatment
✅ Helping hospitals, GP practices and community teams work more closely together

While there is still more to do, these improvements are already helping more people get the care they need, sooner.

We also want to hear from local people about what matters most to them as we continue to improve health and care services across Essex. You can complete a survey by visiting the link in comments.
