As the school year comes to an end, the staff organised a trip to Kent Life for the leavers.
The children had opportunity to pet animals, have a picnic and ride a tractor.
A fun day was had by all.
We will miss the children when they leave for school

Covid 17/07/2022

Following a number of recent outbreaks of Covid at the setting, it is unfortunate that some of our staff have now tested positive.

Although we are trying to maintain consistent childcare during the course of this week, we may need to shorten, cancel or change sessions.

In order to meet the safeguarding requirements we do need to have the correct ratio of staff to children In order to operate safely. Following a review of the ratios for next week it is with regret that the following sessions will be affected:

Monday a.m. session – cancelled
Monday wraparound session – cancelled
Monday p.m. session – cancelled
Tuesday a.m. session – cancelled
Tuesday wraparound session – cancelled
Tuesday p.m. session – cancelled

At present all other sessions remain unaffected.

We are hoping that we will be in a position to continue to operate as normal from Wednesday onwards however we will keep you updated on any further changes.

Please note that parents will not be charged for any sessions that are cancelled.

The heat wave and weather warning that is in place for Monday and Tuesday has now increased to a red warning. We understand that that this can upset some children and we will do everything we can to try and not let the heat impact on them; however, the temperature will be out of our control.

If you feel it is too hot for your child, then as a parent this is a decision that you will need to make about sending them into the preschool.
