No need to book, just drop in.
Tenant services surgeries are attended by both the Income and Tenancy Team along with our contractors Mears, and Sureserve (formerly Swale Heating). At the drop-in surgeries we can assist with:
• Queries relating to your tenancy
• Advice on mutual exchange or downsizing
• Concerns about anti-social behaviour
• Matters relating to your rent account

💙 Support for Medway residents facing financial hardship

If you’re struggling after an unexpected financial shock, the Crisis and Resilience Fund may be able to help. Funded by government and delivered by Medway Council, the fund offers short‑term support to overcome the initial crisis and then help with getting back on track.

✅ Help with unexpected expenses
✅ Support after a sudden drop in income
✅ Assistance if finances are putting your home or wellbeing at risk

The support available has four elements:
💷 Crisis Payments – short-term help in emergencies
🏠 Housing Payments – support with housing costs to help prevent homelessness
📊 Resilience Services – helping residents mange money more effectively to reduce the risk of future crises
🤝 Community Support – connecting residents with local practical and preventative support

🚨Property Licensing - Consultation update – Deadline extended 🚨

We've identified a technical issue that affected access to the online consultation survey over the final weekend for submissions. As a result, Medway Council has reopened and extended the consultation.

We’re committed to making sure everyone has a fair chance to take part. This extension gives residents, landlords, managing agents, businesses, and stakeholders more time to share their views.

🗓 New deadline: Midnight, Thursday, 4 June 2026

✅ If you’ve already submitted your response — no action is needed, it’s still valid.

We apologise for any inconvenience and encourage anyone who hasn’t taken part yet to complete the consultation before the new deadline.
