Advance Notice - Road Closure -Hiltingbury Road
Unfortunately at this time we have no further information to share other than the road closure signs that have appeared. We will share as soon as we know more, but for now, please be aware that Hiltingbury Road is to be closed for up to 8 days between 9.30am and 2.30pm from Friday 25 September.
Hiltingbury Sports and The Hilt will be open as usual for business.
Please plan extra time for your journeys and keep safe.

Dog Show - Challoner House - Sunday 6th September - 14.30 onwards

Please join us for our first Dog Show, we will be joined by The Deputy Mayor of Eastleigh who will be assisting our residents with the Judging. We also have Two fabulous Charities The Blue Cross and St Francis Animal Shelter who will be holding stalls to raise funds for their causes and we have Wogglewears Company selling some lovely pet accessories.
We will also be holding a raffle with the prize being a Doggy Hamper supplied by Chandlers Ford Vets Practice and Vouchers from Pets Corner.
Parking is very limited so please walk if you can or park off site in the surrounding area.

Eastleigh Borough Council want to hear from you about their Local Plan Review and are inviting your feedback on the scope and consultation as the Local Plan Review is prepared.

But what is a Local Plan? It’s the Council’s long-term plan for how Eastleigh Borough will develop – including where new homes, jobs and infrastructure should go, and which areas should be protected.

The scoping consultation document is available to view at www.eastleigh.gov.uk/scoping-consultation

You can also view the document in person by visiting the Parish Council office at Fryern Pavilion, postcode SO53 2LE, during office hours.

Or attend the Eastleigh Borough Council ‘drop-in’ session at The Point, Eastleigh, SO50 9DE on Monday 14 September, between 3pm and 7pm.

This is an opportunity to have your say on the future of our area.

Advance Notice – Roadworks – Bournemouth Road & Wi******er Road 🚧

We have been advised of planned carriageway resurfacing works at two locations in Chandler’s Ford. Overnight road closures will be in place while the works are carried out.

📍 Bournemouth Road
Asda roundabout to The Village Hotel
📅 From 14 September for four nights

📍 Wi******er Road
Hursley Road roundabout to The Hillway
📅 From 16 September for three nights

⏰ Road closures: 20:00–06:00

Please allow extra time for your journey and consider using an alternative route where possible.

Over the summer our Grounds Team have collected quite a quantity of footballs from various hedges and corners of the Parish.
If you recognise one, or would simply like to claim one for the last few days of the school holidays, please pop along to Fryern Pavilion.
After spending a few weeks in the hedges, it's time these footballs saw some action again.

We are thrilled to announce that Swedish Baking Studio UK will be joining us at Proms in the Park on Saturday 5th September.
Bringing a selection of their freshly baked cinnamon buns to the event.
If listening to two hours of live local music, or perusing the vintage cars courtesy of Locksheath Classic Car Club isn't enough, then get your taste buds ready for either something savoury courtesy of Wild Garlic Catering or the delicious sweet cinnamon buns courtesy of Swedish Baking Studio UK And we cannot forget Marucci ice cream for that extra extra bit of sweet treat.
